Telephonic Nurse

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Respond to incoming calls via the telephonic triage line, delivering prompt and efficient service.

• Evaluate callers' concerns by posing relevant and open-ended inquiries to collect essential information.

• Apply clinical judgment to steer discussions and offer suitable recommendations for patient care.

• Collaborate with the Telephonic Provider when necessary to ensure appropriate patient care is achieved.

• Inform callers about immediate care options, advice, and preventive measures as needed.

• Address caller complaints with discretion and independent judgment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid Compact RN license.

• Exceptional verbal communication skills to interact effectively with callers and provide clear guidance.

• At least 5 years of recent clinical nursing experience in occupational medicine, hospital, clinic, urgent care, or ER/ED settings.

• Must reside in a nursing compact state.

• Certification as an Occupational Health Nurse is preferred.

• Experience in telephonic nursing is preferred.
