Telephone Sales Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct outbound fundraising calls to request pledges for client initiatives.

• Engage in meaningful conversations with potential donors.

• Adhere to the provided and client-sanctioned messaging during each call.

• Implement a structured approach to fundraising calls, utilizing suitable political reasons and transition phrases.

• Employ responsive listening techniques to deliver appropriate situational replies.

• Achieve and uphold project goals and efficiency benchmarks.

• Maintain an 85% occupancy ratio.

• Ensure 95% punctuality for shift starts and returns from breaks and lunches.

• Achieve 95% adherence to shift schedules and manage absenteeism effectively.

• Exhibit outstanding customer service and respond promptly to the individual being called.

• Accept coaching and feedback in a constructive manner.

• Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance.

• Stay concentrated on the current project and prepare adequately for each call.

• Perform additional tasks as directed by the Center Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old at the time of employment.

• Availability for full-time day shifts from Monday to Friday is required.

• Additional shifts may be necessary during peak seasons.

• Must reside in the continental United States.

• Must possess a computer that meets system requirements, a USB headset, a web camera, and a wired internet connection (Wi-Fi is not acceptable).

• Must have a quiet, uninterrupted, and distraction-free workspace.

• A successful background check is mandatory.

• The use of identity masking or anonymization technologies is prohibited, including unauthorized VPNs, IP spoofing, location masking tools, anonymizers, and proxies.

• Voice changers, accent modifiers, speech alteration software, filters, avatars, overlays, and visual effects that change voice or appearance are not allowed.

• Must communicate authentically during training, video meetings, phone calls, and other work-related communications.

• Clear and effective verbal communication skills are essential.

• A pleasant and engaging voice with proper pronunciation and diction is required.

• Physical stamina for extended periods of telephone work is necessary.

• Basic computer skills for data entry and managing donor records are essential.

• Proficiency in typing quickly and navigating software or database systems is required.

• Good hearing and active listening abilities are crucial.

• Ability to read and understand scripts displayed on a computer monitor is necessary.

• Strong reading comprehension and quick processing of written materials are important.

• Capability to multitask while maintaining focus is required.

• Emotional resilience when facing rejection or negative responses is essential.

• A high school diploma and/or some college education is advantageous.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in outbound sales, outbound fundraising, or outbound collections is required.
