Telephone Sales Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct outbound fundraising calls to secure pledges for client initiatives

• Adhere to provided and client-sanctioned messaging during each call

• Employ a structured fundraising call format, relevant political justifications, and necessary transition phrases

• Utilize responsive listening techniques and deliver suitable situational responses

• Achieve and sustain project objectives and efficiency standards

• Maintain an occupancy ratio of 85%

• Ensure 95% punctuality for shift starts and returns from breaks and lunch

• Achieve 95% adherence to scheduled shifts and absenteeism performance

• Exhibit outstanding customer service and respond promptly to the individual being contacted

• Accept feedback and coaching in a constructive manner

• Uphold a professional demeanor and appearance

• Remain focused on the assigned project and prepare adequately for each call

• Execute additional tasks as directed by the Center Manager

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must be at least 18 years old at the time of hiring

• Full-time availability for day shifts from Monday to Friday is required

• Additional shifts may be necessary during peak periods

• Employment must be based in the continental United States

• A personal computer that meets system specifications, along with a USB headset, web camera, and a wired internet connection (Wi-Fi is not acceptable) is required

• A quiet, focused, and undisturbed workspace is essential

• Successful completion of a background check is mandatory

• Use of identity masking or anonymization technologies is prohibited, including unauthorized VPNs, IP spoofing, location masking tools, anonymizers, proxies, and similar services

• Voice changers, accent modification tools, speech alteration software, filters, avatars, overlays, and visual effects that modify voice or appearance are not permitted

• Authenticity must be maintained during training, video meetings, phone calls, and all work-related communications

• Strong verbal communication skills are essential

• A pleasant and engaging voice with proper pronunciation and diction is required

• Physical stamina for prolonged periods of telephone communication is necessary

• Comfort with computer usage, rapid typing, and navigating software or database systems is expected

• Good hearing and active listening skills are important

• Ability to read and understand scripts displayed on a computer screen is required

• Capability to multitask while engaging with donors and entering data is crucial

• Emotional resilience in dealing with rejection or negative feedback is necessary

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in outbound sales, fundraising, or collections is required

• A high school diploma and/or some college education is advantageous
