This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Conduct outbound fundraising calls to secure pledges for client projects.
• Initiate engaging conversations with potential donors.
• Adhere to the messaging provided and approved by the client on every call.
• Utilize a structured fundraising call approach, incorporating relevant political reasons and transition phrases.
• Practice responsive listening and deliver appropriate situational responses.
• Achieve and maintain project goals and efficiency metrics, including an 85% occupancy ratio.
• Ensure 95% on-time performance for shift starts and returns from breaks and lunch.
• Maintain 95% adherence to shifts and absenteeism performance standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service and respond promptly to individuals contacted.
• Accept coaching and feedback in a positive manner.
• Uphold a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Remain focused on the current project and prepare thoroughly for each call.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Center Manager.
• Operate under the supervision of the Center Manager and Coach.
• Engage in monitored and recorded calls for quality assurance and training purposes.
• Must be at least 18 years old at the time of employment.
• Full-time availability for day shifts from Monday to Friday is required.
• Additional shifts may be necessary during peak seasons.
• Must reside and work within the continental United States.
• Must possess a computer that meets system requirements, along with a USB headset, web camera, and wired internet connection; Wi-Fi is not permitted.
• A quiet, uninterrupted, and distraction-free workspace is mandatory.
• Passing a background check is required.
• Use of identity masking, anonymization, VPNs not explicitly approved, IP spoofing, location masking tools, anonymizers, and proxies is prohibited.
• Voice changers, accent changers, speech alteration tools, filters, avatars, overlays, and any visual effects that alter or mask voice or appearance are not allowed.
• Must present authentically during training, video meetings, and phone calls.
• Clear and effective verbal communication skills are essential.
• A pleasant and engaging voice with good pronunciation and diction is required.
• Physical stamina for extended periods of talking is necessary.
• Basic computer skills, including data entry, typing, and software or database navigation, are expected.
• Good hearing and active listening abilities are essential.
• Capability to read and understand scripts displayed on a computer monitor.
• Ability to multitask while conversing with donors and entering data.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in outbound sales, outbound fundraising, or outbound collections is required.
• Paid training during the first three weeks at $11 per hour or state minimum wage, whichever is higher.
• Bonus potential of up to $20 per hour.
• $250 retention bonus after 4 weeks, contingent on active status, good standing, performance, and hours requirements.
• $500 retention bonus after 7 weeks, contingent on active status, good standing, performance, and hours requirements.
