This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Conduct outbound fundraising calls to secure pledges for client initiatives
• Initiate engaging discussions with prospective donors
• Adhere to the approved messaging provided by the client for each call
• Implement required call structures, political justifications, and transitional phrases
• Employ responsive listening techniques to deliver suitable situational responses
• Achieve and sustain project objectives and efficiency standards
• Maintain an occupancy ratio of 85%
• Reach 95% punctuality for shift starts and return times from breaks and lunch
• Uphold 95% adherence to scheduled shifts and absenteeism performance
• Exhibit outstanding customer service and respond promptly to callers
• Receive coaching and guidance with a positive attitude
• Uphold a professional demeanor and appearance
• Remain focused on the current project and prepare thoroughly for each call
• Execute additional tasks as directed by the Center Manager
• Participate in monitored and recorded calls for quality assurance and training purposes
• Must be 18 years or older at the time of employment
• Availability for full-time work during the day shift, Monday through Friday
• Additional shifts may be necessary during peak busy periods
• Employment must be based in the continental United States
• Ownership of a computer that meets system specifications is required
• A USB headset must be owned
• A web camera is mandatory
• A wired internet connection is required; no Wi-Fi permitted
• Must maintain a quiet, uninterrupted workspace free from distractions
• A background check must be passed
• Usage of identity masking or anonymization technology is prohibited, including unapproved VPNs, IP spoofing, and similar tools
• Tools that alter voice or appearance, such as voice changers and filters, are not allowed
• Authenticity must be presented during training, video conferences, phone conversations, and work-related communications
• Clear and effective verbal communication skills are essential
• A pleasant and engaging voice with proper pronunciation and diction is required
• Physical stamina is necessary for long periods of telephone work
• Basic computer skills for data entry and donor information management are needed
• Comfort in typing quickly and navigating software or database systems is essential
• Strong hearing and active listening capabilities are required
• Ability to read and understand scripts displayed on a computer monitor
• Strong reading comprehension skills and the ability to rapidly process written material are necessary
• Capability to multitask while conversing with donors and entering data
• Emotional resilience is essential for managing rejection or negative feedback
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in outbound sales, fundraising, or collections is required
• A high school diploma and/or some college education is preferred
• Calls will be monitored and recorded for quality assurance and training purposes
• Paid training during the first three weeks at $11 per hour or the state minimum wage, whichever is higher
• Opportunity to earn bonuses of up to $20 per hour
• $250 retention bonus after 4 weeks, contingent on active status, good standing, performance, and specified hours/rate conditions
• $500 retention bonus after 7 weeks, contingent on active status, good standing, performance, and full-time hours conditions
