Technology Services Strategic Vendor Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take full responsibility for the comprehensive management of designated strategic technology suppliers.

• Develop relationship strategies, governance frameworks, stakeholder alignment, and accountability measures for service performance, commercial value, risk management, continuous enhancement, and business outcomes.

• Oversee commercial and contract management activities throughout the supplier's lifecycle.

• Analyze and manage SOWs, amendments, service levels, pricing, deliverables, and other commitments.

• Lead or assist in complex sourcing events, renewal strategies, negotiations, and dispute resolution in collaboration with Procurement, Legal, Finance, business, and technology leaders.

• Track supplier performance, financial and commercial outcomes, contractual adherence, and significant risks.

• Maintain scorecards, obligation trackers, risk and issue logs, and conduct trend analysis.

• Identify deficiencies and drive remediation, improvement initiatives, commercial recoveries, and supplier-led innovations.

• Facilitate regular governance meetings, strategic assessments, and executive escalations.

• Prepare materials suitable for executives, along with recommendations, decisions, and follow-up actions.

• Foster trusted relationships with both enterprise and supplier leadership.

• Work independently across several complex priorities and maintain precise documentation.

• Coordinate cross-functional dependencies, enhance supplier management processes, and appropriately escalate significant issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR an Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of relevant cumulative job-specific experience required.

• Certification from the International Association of Information Technology Asset Managers is preferred.

• Preferred: 3 years of leadership or management experience.

• Experience in managing intricate technology outsourcing or managed service provider relationships, especially in application development and maintenance services within healthcare or similarly regulated sectors.

• Proven experience in contracting and strategic sourcing, including competitive sourcing events, supplier evaluation, development and negotiation of SOWs and amendments, SLA and pricing analysis, renewals, and support for contractual disputes or remediation.

• Outstanding written and verbal executive communication skills, analytical and commercial acumen, and the capability to influence stakeholders, build consensus, and deliver precise results autonomously in a complex, highly matrixed environment.
