Prediction Markets Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily operations of the DraftKings Exchange, focusing on electronic trading, market monitoring, and operational support for prediction markets.

• Facilitate real-time operational and technical assistance by managing issue resolution, identifying underlying causes, and collaborating with Engineering to enhance platform stability and performance.

• Cultivate relationships with customers and partners regarding operations, including exchange connectivity, participant onboarding, complex inquiry resolution, and ensuring seamless trading experiences.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Regulatory, and Analytics teams on strategic projects, new market capabilities, and ongoing operational enhancements.

• Direct the development and improvement of operational tools for real-time monitoring of market conditions, liquidity, market maker activity, trading performance, and the overall health of prediction markets.

• Examine operational and market data to discern trends, suggest enhancements, and implement scalable processes that bolster market integrity, efficiency, and customer experience.

• Acquire in-depth knowledge of prediction markets and evolving industry trends to impact operational strategy, support regulatory preparedness, and influence the future trajectory of the DraftKings Exchange.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in market operations, exchange operations, trading operations, market surveillance, financial markets, sportsbook trading, or a comparable operational setting.

• Extensive understanding of exchange and market structure concepts, including order books, matching engines, liquidity, market states, trading dynamics, and operational risk management.

• Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional operational initiatives, enhancing complex processes, and delivering scalable solutions within a fast-paced, regulated environment.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to influence both technical and business partners and convey operational insights to senior stakeholders.

• Proficient in utilizing data to assess operational performance, prioritize enhancements, and assist in strategic decision-making.

• Enthusiasm for prediction markets, exchange operations, sports trading, or financial markets.

• Willingness to provide shift coverage as required.

• Experience in a regulated trading, exchange operations, or market surveillance environment is preferred.

• May need to obtain a gaming license issued by the relevant state agency as a condition of employment.
