This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage assigned provider contract documents from initiation to execution.
• Draft, modify, and oversee provider agreements, amendments, notice letters, termination letters, schedules, exhibits, and related customer contract documentation.
• Convert authorized business intentions, discount strategies, rebate structures, and contract terms into precise, clear, and enforceable contract language.
• Prepare contract documents for internal assessment, legal review, business authorization, execution, and subsequent implementation.
• Ensure document quality by proofreading, controlling versions, tracking issues, and escalating matters promptly.
• Assist designated provider segment portfolios under the guidance of the Segment Lead.
• Oversee contract requests from initial intake to finalization.
• Engage in portfolio planning, renewal strategies, document review meetings, and customer-specific contracting discussions.
• Provide updates on status, highlight risks or delays, and identify dependencies impacting contract delivery.
• Ensure the accuracy of contract data and document records in Conga CLM or relevant CLM systems.
• Maintain comprehensive and precise contract terms, metadata, file history, approvals, executed documents, and supporting documentation.
• Adhere to contracting controls regarding intake validation, document creation, review routing, approvals, execution readiness, file retention, and downstream handoff.
• Facilitate audit, litigation, or compliance-related document retrieval requests.
• Recognize data quality issues, system deficiencies, and recurring process failures, and escalate them as necessary.
• Collaborate with Coverage & Pricing, Legal, Contract Pricing Execution, Government Pricing, Finance, Contract Business Operations, and other stakeholders.
• Communicate contract status, associated risks, required decisions, and document history to stakeholders and leadership.
• Utilize authorized templates, clauses, playbooks, job aids, and standard operating procedures.
• Identify opportunities to enhance contract language, templates, checklists, workflows, and knowledge resources.
• Assist with enterprise drafting or implementation initiatives, including master agreement updates, product launch readiness, WAC or NDC modifications, notice programs, and tear sheets.
• Share insights gained and support consistent operational practices across the team.
• Doctorate degree OR Master’s degree with 2 years of experience in commercial contracting, sales operations, finance, and/or analytics OR Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of experience in the same fields OR Associate’s degree with 10 years of experience OR High school diploma/GED with 12 years of experience.
• Experience in drafting, editing, or managing commercial agreements, amendments, notices, letters, schedules, exhibits, or similar contract documents.
• Proficiency in translating business terms, pricing structures, rebate arrangements, discount programs, or contract requirements into clear and precise written contract language.
• Background in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, market access, provider contracting, hospital/GPO contracting, sales operations, finance, legal operations, or contract lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with CLM systems like Conga, DocuSign, or comparable contract management systems.
• Experience in maintaining contract data, metadata, approvals, and executed contract records.
• Strong writing, proofreading, analytical skills, and issue identification capabilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and document quality.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a high-volume environment while ensuring accuracy and control discipline.
• Strong collaboration skills and comfort working with Law, Coverage & Pricing, Contract Pricing Execution, Government Pricing, Finance, and operational partners.
• Eagerness to learn and curiosity to develop expertise across provider customer segments, product portfolios, pricing constructs, and contracting processes.
• Proven ability to identify process enhancements, reusable language opportunities, or workflow discrepancies, and translate them into actionable recommendations.
