Technology Implementation Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee intricate, cross-functional technology implementations from initiation to successful adoption and stabilization.

• Convert business objectives into actionable implementation strategies, delivery plans, milestones, and quantifiable outcomes.

• Take ownership of implementation scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, issues, and overall accountability for delivery.

• Lead and influence cross-functional teams without necessarily holding direct management authority.

• Collaborate with business leaders, Technology leadership, vendors, and operational stakeholders to promote alignment and facilitate decision-making.

• Identify and proactively mitigate implementation risks, organizational dependencies, and obstacles to successful adoption.

• Formulate implementation and transition strategies that address readiness, communication, training, operational handoff, and post-launch stabilization.

• Establish and track success metrics to ensure technology investments meet desired business outcomes.

• Provide executive-level reporting and recommendations concerning implementation progress, risks, decisions, and business impact.

• Create standard implementation practices, tools, governance, and lessons learned across technology initiatives.

• Mentor and offer delivery leadership to Project Managers and other implementation resources as appropriate.

• Assist the Senior Manager, Project Delivery with portfolio planning, prioritization, capacity considerations, and ongoing improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7–10+ years of experience in technology delivery and implementation.

• Proven experience in leading complex enterprise technology initiatives.

• Experience in managing senior stakeholders effectively.

• Capability to work across various business functions.

• Experience in coordinating both internal and external delivery teams.

• Familiarity with enterprise systems, technology transformation, organizational change, vendor management, and implementation methodologies is highly desirable.

• Proficient in facilitating meetings to achieve clear outcomes.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.

• Ability to drive value and ROI from project charter through to implementation and user adoption.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

• Skilled in managing technology projects, including planning, execution, change management, implementation, hypercare, and monitoring.

• High level of accuracy in documentation and adherence to established procedures.

• Commitment to delivering outstanding support and service to end-users.

• Degree in business or technology, or equivalent work experience.

• Preferred certifications include Business Analyst, Project Manager, Product Manager, Change Management, Agile, and Agile Scrum.
