Implementation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist customers in adopting, expanding, and achieving technical success through proof of value, implementation, and deployed engagements.

• Partner with customers, account teams, and collaborators to create and deploy comprehensive solutions that connect data collection, enhancement, activation, and measurement to business and AI-driven results.

• Facilitate discovery and solution sessions to define objectives, confirm feasibility, evaluate customer architectures and implementation readiness, and recognize risks, challenges, optimization possibilities, and use cases.

• Act as a trusted technical advisor for customer stakeholders across data, marketing, IT, and AI-focused initiatives.

• Utilize AI tools and contemporary workflows to expedite implementation delivery, enhance solution quality, and uncover insights.

• Employ SQL, data analysis, visualization, and AI-assisted analytics to assess data quality, discover patterns, and produce customer-facing insights and recommendations.

• Diagnose technical issues related to JavaScript tags, APIs, SDKs, integrations, and data pipelines using both traditional and AI-enhanced diagnostic methods.

• Promote proof-of-value and expansion initiatives by determining technical requirements, confirming solution compatibility, documenting decisions and subsequent actions, and applying expertise in Tealium solutions.

• Identify, assess, and implement AI-enabled and modern tooling solutions to enhance efficiency, decrease manual effort, speed up time-to-value, and optimize delivery outcomes.

• Link technical execution to quantifiable customer value and long-term success.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience with Tealium products and solutions is highly preferred.

• 3+ years of experience in client-facing technical positions such as implementation, solutions consulting, technical support, or customer-facing engineering within a SaaS, digital technology, marketing technology, or data environment.

• Extensive experience troubleshooting technical challenges related to tagging, APIs, SDKs, integrations, data discrepancies, and front-end implementations.

• Profound knowledge of digital marketing technologies, tag management, customer data platforms, digital analytics, and data/AI-driven workflows across web, mobile, and connected applications.

• Proven ability to utilize AI-powered tools and modern workflows, including code assistants, analytics copilots, and automation tools.

• Strong communication skills in written and spoken English are essential.

• Proficiency in Spanish is an advantage.

• Expertise in SQL and data analysis.

• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Python, JS frameworks, and experience with mobile frameworks or other programming languages.

• Capability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Ability to lead discussions with customers, manage expectations, address escalated issues, and collaborate with teams, partners, and clients.

• Capacity to independently manage customer expectations, resolve issues, and execute tasks without significant reliance on program or project management support.

• Data-driven decision-making skills.

• Enthusiasm for emerging technologies, particularly AI-enabled tools and modern implementation practices.

• Willingness to travel approximately 20% to support customer engagements, participate in onsite meetings, and meet other business needs.
