Implementation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Set up Alkami Digital Banking products and third-party integrations based on implementation requirements, technical specifications, and client-specific customization needs.

• Effectively manage assigned technical implementation tasks, coordinate timelines, and ensure that deliverables adhere to quality standards.

• Diagnose implementation and configuration issues by examining system behavior, reviewing logs and documentation, and resolving discrepancies.

• Install, configure, and customize platform features while validating system performance.

• Collaborate with project managers, client stakeholders, product teams, vendors, support, engineering, and customer-facing teams.

• Implement testing plans for configurations, document outcomes, and verify platform setups.

• Coordinate the requirements for third-party integrations, confirm connectivity, and troubleshoot interface issues.

• Create and maintain configuration documentation, technical procedures, issue tracking details, and project artifacts.

• Assess client requirements, identify dependencies, and suggest configuration strategies.

• Offer technical support during implementation and the post-go-live stabilization phase.

• Adhere to security standards, operational procedures, quality controls, and best practices for implementation.

• Identify process enhancements and recommend improvements for workflows or documentation.

• Provide technical insights, update team resources, and assist in onboarding or mentoring junior team members.

• Manage multiple concurrent implementation priorities, timelines, troubleshooting tasks, and communications with stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in supporting software implementations, technical consulting, systems configuration, or client onboarding activities within SaaS, fintech, banking technology, or similar technical environments.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Technology, or a related field.

• Experience in configuring software platforms or supporting technical implementation projects.

• Familiarity with troubleshooting methodologies and practices for resolving technical issues.

• Experience with relational databases such as Postgres, MSSQL, Oracle, or MySQL.

• Ability to analyze implementation requirements and apply appropriate configuration solutions.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills when interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Proven experience in managing multiple priorities and implementation timelines.

• Capability to work independently within established implementation processes.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience in documenting technical procedures, configurations, and implementation activities.

• Must be eligible to work in the US for full-time employment; employment sponsorship is not available.

• Preferred: Experience in supporting digital banking, fintech, or financial services technology platforms.

• Preferred: Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, or data exchange processes.

• Preferred: Proficiency in software development or scripting languages such as C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript.

• Preferred: Experience with project management, ticketing, or documentation platforms.

• Preferred: Exposure to SaaS implementation methodologies or customer onboarding processes.

• Preferred: Experience in supporting client-facing technical projects within a cross-functional environment.
