This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Set up, test, optimize, and oversee management and monitoring tools for TELUS Managed Services.
• Aid in configuring, modifying, updating, and deploying new use cases for the AIOPS platform.
• Execute regular MCP systems development and maintenance to ensure effective communication between AI models and underlying data systems.
• Partner with network engineers, business analysts, and architects to convert managed services requirements into AI and automation workflows.
• Develop and sustain automation workflows that minimize repetitive tasks within the TELUS Managed Services environment.
• Offer technical advice and troubleshooting assistance to technology professionals engaged with TELUS Managed Services.
• Propel the development and integration of AI-driven solutions to improve TELUS Managed Services.
• Assist the Managed Services Transformation program through tool configuration and testing, documentation, and MCP integrations.
• Solid background in telecom engineering and network operations.
• Practical automation experience.
• Capability and eagerness to swiftly learn and master enterprise toolsets.
• Proficiency in translating network strategies, architectures, and NOC workflows into automated AI/agentic solutions.
• Advanced understanding of IP, firewall, Gigabit Ethernet, MPLS/VPN, QoS, management protocols, and cloud services.
• Practical experience with Python/JavaScript programming, API integrations, Linux/Windows environments, virtualization, and container platforms.
• Ability to prioritize effectively while managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Comprehensive knowledge of telecom industry trends, NOC operations, and emerging AI technologies.
• Experience acting as a technical lead on automation and development projects.
• Over 5 years of experience as a telecom engineer, network developer, or AI solutions consultant in a communications service provider or solution provider environment.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computing Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Government of Canada Security Clearance (Level 2 Secret) is considered a valuable asset.
• Extensive knowledge of software development and advanced machine learning concepts is seen as a great advantage.
• Industry certifications in AI, Cloud (GCP), or Networking (Cisco/Juniper/Palo Alto) are regarded as beneficial.
• Familiarity with ITSM systems, including Incident, Problem and Change management, CMDB, and ServiceNow is viewed as a plus.
