Senior Consultant, EU

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with clients to address technical and operational issues.

• Create automated solutions tailored for contemporary networks.

• Ensure consistent communication with clients.

• Facilitate engaging discovery and design workshops.

• Attend regular meetings to maintain client satisfaction.

• Shape client perspectives through technical insights and effective responses to objections.

• Recognize project risks and challenges, formulate resolution strategies, and assist in troubleshooting.

• Monitor project timelines and address any delays.

• Conduct peer reviews, offer guidance, and promote coding best practices.

• Work collaboratively with Engineers and Managing Consultants on automation designs and technology stacks.

• Lead client calls and clarify solution tradeoffs to executive leaders.

• Convert manual processes into both high-level and detailed designs.

• Generate technical documentation for client solutions.

• Embrace emerging technologies and showcase technical proficiency.

• Engage in the entire project lifecycle from assessment to deployment and documentation.

• Develop software for both internal and client-centered projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in a client-facing consulting position.

• Skill in simplifying complex ideas and presenting them clearly to diverse audiences.

• Capability to make usability decisions regarding naming, user experience, complexity tradeoffs, layout, and aligning technical solutions with customers' skill sets.

• Ability to switch contexts and manage multiple projects at once.

• Experience with CI/CD methodologies applied to network automation.

• Knowledge of data management principles, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Source of Truth strategies.

• Familiarity with Ansible and/or Python for automating networking devices.

• Experience with Flask/Django for developing custom APIs.

• Knowledge of pytest, Nornir, Netmiko, NAPALM, Batfish, Salt, and Robot Framework.

• Acquainted with traditional Git workflows.

• Strong grasp of Source of Truth automation strategies.

• CCNP certification or equivalent networking expertise.
