This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver real-time remote technical assistance, training, and guidance to internal technicians and dental clients via the TechConnect platform and associated tools.
• Manage remote support requests through a queue-based system (FSM Grid/TechConnect).
• Oversee the dispatch board during times when not engaged in TechConnect calls.
• Mentor novice technicians.
• Offer remote front-line support to dental office personnel through troubleshooting, installations, and configuration.
• Address inquiries from both external and internal customers, ensuring compliance with contractual response times.
• Record all interactions in work orders and relevant systems.
• Utilize FSM Grid to schedule Field Service Technicians and document notes within tickets.
• Must reside in the Mountain or Pacific Time Zone.
• Proficient in computer usage, including familiarity with Windows-based applications.
• Excellent time-management and organizational abilities, capable of prioritizing and handling multiple tasks and/or projects.
• A problem solver who is adaptable and an agile thinker.
• Strong communication skills with active listening capabilities, able to clarify complex technical issues in straightforward, customer-friendly language.
• Comprehensive knowledge of dental and related equipment operation, troubleshooting, and basic repair techniques.
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals and collaboration with office IT staff (Wi-Fi, firewalls, device connectivity).
• Understanding of electrical systems, plumbing, and equipment calibration procedures.
• Knowledge of low-voltage electrical equipment installation and repair.
• Proficient with remote support platforms (e.g., TechConnect, TalkDesk), mobile devices (iPads), and communication tools (FSM Grid, email, SMS).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Associate's Degree in a Technical or Vocational field.
• Minimum of 5 years in Dental Field Service Experience (Required).
• 1-3 years in Electrical, Customer Service, Military, HVAC, Pneumatics, or Software/Hardware Experience (Preferred).
• 1-3 years of Technical Training Experience in the Bio-Med or Electronics Field (Preferred).
• 1-3 years in a Remote Support, Help Desk, Contact Center, or Teleservice Role (Preferred).
