This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Conduct research and craft technical content focused on cybersecurity, identity security, privileged access management, password security, non-human identities, and associated technologies.
• Produce one-pagers, datasheets, solution briefs, comparison guides, white papers, blog entries, and website content for products.
• Create educational materials covering industry trends, security threats, compliance obligations, best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Simplify complex technical ideas into clear, precise, and audience-appropriate communications.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing and Product Management to grasp product functionalities, use cases, advantages, and unique selling points.
• Work alongside Engineering and subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy and that the content reflects the latest product capabilities.
• Develop content tailored for technical and business audiences, including security leaders, IT administrators, DevOps teams, developers, compliance professionals, partners, and end users.
• Review and revise existing content to maintain accuracy, relevance, consistency, and alignment with Keeper’s messaging.
• Produce content that comprehensively explains technical workflows, architecture, integrations, implementation factors, and customer advantages.
• Collaborate with SEO to create search-informed content briefs and enhance content for targeted audiences and search intent.
• Ensure consistent terminology, tone, style, and product naming across all technical documentation.
• Interview internal subject matter experts and transform technical discussions into well-structured, polished content.
• Oversee multiple content projects simultaneously, from research and outlining to review, revisions, and publication.
• Stay informed on cybersecurity trends, industry vernacular, compliance needs, and emerging technologies.
• Over 5 years of experience in technical writing, content marketing, product marketing, or a similar field.
• Proven experience writing about technical products, software, cybersecurity, SaaS, or enterprise technology.
• Ability to comprehend complex technical information and convey it clearly to diverse audiences.
• Strong skills in research, interviewing, writing, and editing.
• Experience creating structured content, including product documentation, technical briefs, datasheets, solution briefs, or product pages.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, product managers, marketers, and other subject matter experts.
• Exceptional attention to detail and dedication to technical accuracy.
• Capacity to multitask and work independently as a self-starter.
• Capability to verify all technical materials for consistency and accuracy.
• Experience managing multiple projects while integrating feedback from various stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in prioritizing and executing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Preferred experience in cybersecurity, identity and access management, privileged access management, password management, or compliance.
• Familiarity with content management systems, preferably WordPress (preferred).
