This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Educate customers on automotive brake pad products.
• Provide in-field support and insights into braking systems and components to the customer’s commercial sales team.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with the customer’s commercial sales team to enhance existing business and pursue lost as well as potential accounts.
• Organize travel plans into specific markets.
• Conduct visits to installer customers alongside accounts and sales managers to promote and inform about key features and advantages.
• Deliver both technical and non-technical presentations regarding brake systems, components, and installations to individuals and small groups.
• Facilitate technical and non-technical training sessions at regional shows, new store openings, national sales meetings, strategic account events, and trade exhibitions.
• Address customer issues related to brake systems, manufacturers, and the industry.
• Review industry updates and escalate concerns to internal contacts.
• Visit customer store locations to collect field feedback, market shifts, and trends.
• Travel extensively, up to 75%, throughout the eastern half of the United States and other U.S. locations as required.
• Ensure travel to all major markets in the region at least twice a year.
• Coordinate region-specific travel with the customer’s commercial sales team.
• Organize customer visits, training sessions, and content initiatives.
• Understand customer commercial sales promotions and programs for regional markets.
• Keep records of customer visit reports.
• Engage in weekly and monthly team conference calls.
• Participate in annual internal company training with corporate, R&D, and manufacturing locations.
• Assist with urgent and unplanned projects that require out-of-region travel.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience (service departments, dealerships, vehicle maintenance, etc.) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• In-depth knowledge of OE and aftermarket brake systems and components.
• Familiarity with vehicle maintenance and diagnostic procedures.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting diverse types of material.
• Conflict resolution abilities at both individual and group levels.
• Proficient in negotiation and timely, confident decision-making.
• Capability to assist with non-routine tasks or those outside the home region.
• Proactive follow-up, organizational skills, results-driven mindset, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to effectively interact with clients while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and quality of work.
• Experience in instructional training is preferred.
• Automotive technical expertise in brake systems/repair.
• State or ASE/Master Certifications are a plus.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to travel extensively, up to 75% across the United States.
