Technical Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead technical training sessions across Canada.

• Provide both classroom and virtual training programs.

• Develop and update training materials and curriculum.

• Organize regional and national training events.

• Conduct visits to stores, commercial clients, and distribution centers.

• Assist field sales and commercial account teams.

• Participate in ride-alongs and customer visits.

• Offer technical product support and troubleshooting assistance.

• Serve as the main automotive technical resource.

• Convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Keep abreast of automotive technologies and industry trends.

• Cultivate strong relationships with stores, commercial clients, suppliers, and business partners.

• Aid in supplier-sponsored training initiatives.

• Enhance customer engagement and product awareness.

• Monitor training activities and participation.

• Assess training effectiveness and business impact.

• Provide regular reports on activities and performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least five (5) years of experience in the automotive industry.

• Background in automotive repair, dealership operations, aftermarket parts, technical support, or a related field.

• Demonstrated ability to conduct training and presentations.

• Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and automotive experience.

• Bilingual in English and French.

• In-depth knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostics.

• Familiarity with aftermarket automotive products and applications.

• Capability to explain technical concepts to varied audiences.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong presentation and facilitation skills.

• Skills in relationship-building and customer engagement.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and virtual training platforms.
