Technical Surveying Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Offer technical and valuation support to Area Managers and Strategic Relationship Managers on escalated cases.

• Serve as the primary contact for inquiries related to new builds, including first-on-site reports, valuation questions, and lender concentration risks.

• Assess and enhance internal workflows to boost operational efficiency.

• Generate insightful analyses and meaningful management information for senior leadership, pinpointing trends and areas for improvement.

• Mentor and guide teams through intricate tasks while ensuring accountability.

• Assist in risk management, exposure monitoring, and the development of exposure management policies.

• Evaluate high-risk new build development sites through both desktop reviews and physical inspections.

• Act as a reliable point of contact for lenders, panel suppliers, surveyors, and area managers.

• Relay updates on lender policy changes and timelines to lender clients.

• Develop and distribute guidance to internal stakeholders and external clients regarding current and emerging residential survey and valuation topics.

• Present on issues related to residential new build valuations.

• Collaborate with the New Build team and client lenders to enhance the residential new build property advisory services offering.


⛳️ Requirements

• AssocRICS or MRICS/FRICS qualified.

• Proven experience working collaboratively as part of a team of both remote and office-based qualified surveyors.

• Demonstrated ability to foster a culture of compliance within the organization.

• In-depth knowledge of RICS “Red Book” standards.

• Awareness of current trends and emerging issues in new build residential surveying and valuation.

• Strong organizational and mentoring abilities.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Robust analytical skills with the capability to interpret management information data, identify trends, and implement enhancements.

• Ability to troubleshoot challenges, suggest practical solutions, and lead problem resolution processes.

• Proactive in recognizing opportunities for improvements in team performance and internal procedures.

• Willingness to travel and participate in forums.

• Must successfully complete a Criminal Records Disclosure and Credit Referencing Process.
