This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead and oversee the on-site installation team for intricate projects.
• Take responsibility for site-related challenges.
• Handle P&L accountability for site-based activities and associated expenses.
• Manage site contracts that involve significant project risks and complex installed equipment.
• Comprehend contracts to mitigate associated risks.
• Monitor on-site activities for 50% of each scheduled workday, including a minimum of three comprehensive site walks daily.
• Identify and assess potential issues, risks, and opportunities, initiating corrective and preventive measures.
• Oversee claim avoidance and manage claims when necessary.
• Manage quality, timelines, costs, and the provision of information.
• Report and escalate nonconformities to the customer and Project Manager.
• Negotiate with clients and subcontractors while managing contract-related matters.
• Engage with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management.
• Communicate with customers regarding progress, out-of-scope work, and site-related concerns.
• Ensure high-quality installation execution in line with corporate processes.
• Conduct quality checks on installations and associated processes.
• Organize and supervise HSE activities on-site.
• Develop the Installation Project Plan that includes objectives, organization, planning, and cost calculations in collaboration with the Project Manager.
• Propose enhancements to the site management process.
• Provide timely updates to customers, the Project Manager, and head office.
• Relevant Project Management experience in managing engineering projects, although a craft-based background is also acceptable.
• Proven track record in project delivery.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership skills in building cohesive and motivated project teams.
• Outstanding organizational abilities and experience collaborating effectively within a team environment that includes engineering and project management.
• Proactive and hands-on work approach.
• Proven aptitude for problem-solving, particularly in high-pressure situations.
• Familiarity with electromechanical controls wiring and systems.
• Experience in contract management, project planning, and site organization.
• Willingness to travel up to 80–90% both domestically and internationally.
• Ability to talk and hear frequently.
• Capability to lift materials weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to bend at the knees to inspect pallets or read packing lists.
