Technical Supporter/Engineer – Electrical Components, Converter Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Serve as the primary technical contact for service technicians, customers, and contractors in the domain of converter/inverter technology.

• Analyze and troubleshoot issues with converters/inverters, particularly for Senvion®, Nordex®, Fuhrländer®, and GE® wind turbines, escalating to 2nd level support through remote monitoring.

• Deliver remote technical assistance to service teams during the repair of wind turbines.

• Develop work instructions, maintenance documentation, and RAMS.

• Create and assess work orders along with the required technical documentation.

• Monitor the performance of wind turbines and suggest measures for improvement.

• Aid in the technical development of repair and retrofit proposals related to converter technology.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed vocational training as an electrician/mechatronics technician and/or technician qualification and/or a degree in engineering.

• Several years of experience with converters/inverters, particularly with Senvion®, Nordex®, Fuhrländer®, and GE® wind turbines.

• Proficient in German with good English skills, both written and spoken.

• Confident in utilizing common Office applications.

• Capable of independent, structured, and results-driven work.

• A team player.

• Physically fit and able to work at heights.

• Valid Class B driving license.

• Willingness to travel occasionally and enjoy doing so.
