Technical Supporter, Engineer — Electrical Components, Converter Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Serve as the primary technical liaison for service technicians, customers, and contractors regarding converter technology.

• Diagnose and address faults in converters, particularly those associated with Senvion®, Nordex®, Fuhrländer®, and GE® wind turbines, which are escalated to second-level support through remote monitoring.

• Offer remote verbal technical assistance to service teams during the repair processes of wind turbines.

• Develop work instructions, maintenance documentation, and RAMS.

• Prepare and review work orders along with the corresponding technical documentation.

• Monitor the performance of wind turbines and initiate measures for improvement.

• Assist in the technical preparation of proposals for repairs and retrofits within the converter technology domain.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed vocational training as an electrician/mechatronics technician and/or a technician qualification and/or an engineering degree.

• Extensive experience with converters, specifically on Senvion®, Nordex®, Fuhrländer®, and GE® wind turbines.

• Excellent command of the German language, both spoken and written.

• Proficient in English, both spoken and written.

• Proficient in using standard Microsoft Office applications.

• Independent, organized, and results-driven work style.

• Strong team player.

• Physically fit for working at heights and able to meet physical demands.

• Valid driving license (class B).

• Willingness and enthusiasm for occasional travel.
