This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary technical contact and representative for Formlabs throughout the DACH region and beyond.

• Travel to customer locations to unpack, install, commission, and calibrate new 3D printing systems.

• Provide structured on-site training for customers on machinery operation, software usage, and basic maintenance procedures.

• Conduct live demonstrations of products.

• Address customer downtime issues, including urgent repairs on short notice.

• Oversee annual preventative maintenance visits within the 90-day target for warranty customers.

• Diagnose electromechanical problems and achieve resolutions in a single visit.

• Carry out a high volume of field service activities.

• Manage all travel arrangements independently, including flights, trains, hotels, rental cars, and expense reports.

• Keep installation, training, and repair records updated in Salesforce.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preference for candidates based in Frankfurt, Berlin, or Munich due to connectivity to hubs.

• Must be willing to travel and be on the road for over 80% of the time.

• Strong technical foundation in electromechanical systems and hardware.

• Possess soft skills necessary for instructing others on technology usage.

• Fluency in both German and English at a C1 level is required.

• A valid driver’s license is mandatory.

• Proficiency in French is considered an advantage.

• A passion for 3D printing and emerging technologies is a plus.

• Experience in fast-paced startup environments is advantageous.
