This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Execute timely and precise preventative maintenance, Field Modification Instructions, and corrective repairs.
• Diagnose and perform basic repairs on assigned CT and MR equipment.
• Assist seasoned field engineers with equipment installations, both onsite and remotely.
• Collaborate with experienced field engineers on fundamental troubleshooting and service repair tasks.
• Communicate effectively and partner with teammates, colleagues, and customers to ensure resolution and follow-up.
• Suggest value-added services to enhance customer operational efficiency.
• Maintain a composed and professional demeanor in high-pressure customer service situations.
• Review customer service reports, order repair parts, submit expenses, and manage cycle times.
• Utilize the GEHC escalation process and work with regional and national support on corrective action plans.
• Participate as a member of the account community for key accounts.
• Engage with commercial counterparts, identify sales opportunities, partake in contract renewals, and support revenue programs.
• Foster and strengthen customer relationships to drive satisfaction.
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
• Independently handle service calls without assistance within one year of employment.
• Adhere to GEHC quality, EHS, compliance, and regulatory standards.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; OR equivalent military education to an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree; OR completion of the formal GEHC Biomed/FE Services Internship, Apprenticeship or Military Externship program; OR High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 2 years' experience in servicing electronic or electro-mechanical equipment.
• Proficiency with web applications and the Microsoft suite of products.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License.
• Willingness to travel for training purposes.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is not available.
• Technical skills in CT and/or MR are preferred.
• Capability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs. without assistance.
• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, and stand for extended periods.
• Capacity to reach at, above, and below shoulder level, flex/extend neck, and demonstrate good hand and finger dexterity.
• Required vision abilities may include color vision, close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
