This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Supervise the installation and commissioning of HRSGs and related equipment at client locations.
• Assist in the installation of HRSG components, piping, and auxiliary systems.
• Interpret sketches and drawings to ensure installations adhere to specifications and sequences.
• Evaluate HRSG installation method statements for safety and efficiency.
• Document and report commercial and technical discrepancies through quality records and NCRs, and ensure they are addressed to resolution.
• Ensure that subcontractors and partners provide ITPLs, reports, and quality documentation necessary for system turnover certification.
• Submit Engineering Request cases to GE Vernova engineering for clarifications regarding site installations.
• Review welding procedure specifications and welder qualifications prior to the commencement of welding activities.
• Enforce safety protocols during heavy lifting operations and review lifting plans accordingly.
• Oversee the installation, testing, hydrotesting, preservation, chemical cleaning, and safety valve settings of HRSG piping.
• Ensure waste disposal practices comply with local environmental regulations.
• Identify and address cross-disciplinary site interferences.
• Prepare and distribute progress reports to construction, site, and installation leadership.
• Prepare and conduct HRSG tests, performance evaluations, and reliability assessments.
• Utilize P&IDs for system checks.
• Support the setup of instrumentation and perform logical checks for transmitters, vibration detectors, and position switches.
• Manage site mobilization, civil works, erection, commissioning, and related activities while adhering to schedule and budget constraints.
• Comply with Quality, Environmental Health and Safety standards and relevant processes.
• 5–15 years of experience in Project Management, Construction, and Commissioning.
• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 16 years of experience in the relevant Job Family Group(s)/Function(s).
