Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Deliver maintenance and repair services directly in the field

• Educate staff on the proper usage of equipment

• Instruct customers on how to effectively use equipment

• Provide hands-on assistance to customers

• Present solutions that extend beyond basic repairs and maintenance

• Engage in frequent travel to customer locations, on a daily basis

• Occasionally utilize power tools

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification

• Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record (Required)

• Technical training in the biomedical or electronics field (Preferred)

• Proficiency in computer applications, including familiarity with Windows-based programs

• Strong organizational abilities

• Effective problem-solving skills

• Outstanding communication capabilities

• Mechanical or technical background/education

• Experience in electrical work, customer service, military service, or software/hardware

• Knowledge of pneumatics

• Familiarity with HVAC systems

• Ability to work in confined spaces

• Regular travel to customer sites (daily)

• Occasional operation of power tools

• Routine activities including walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, reaching, and twisting

• Capability to frequently lift, lower, carry, push, or pull weights ranging from 1 to 55 pounds, and occasionally handle weights from 56 to 100 pounds

• Manual dexterity for tasks involving pushing, pulling, grasping, and using hands, arms, and shoulders
