This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.
• Deliver technical, client, and business-line support for the Americas region as well as the global business line.
• Assist with technical services, strategic initiatives, new product development, global processes, capacity planning, and technical governance.
• Discover opportunities for new products and revenue through service expansion, the development of new services, and customer inquiries.
• Oversee, develop, and manage the technical facets of regulatory-related services for customers in the Americas.
• Offer technical opinions, interpretations, and recommendations to both clients and colleagues.
• Enhance and maintain quality systems and technical service processes.
• Address technical inquiries via the Tech Inquiry Mailbox.
• Create and develop SOPs, methodologies, work instructions, and standard interpretation practices.
• Plan and conduct technical training sessions throughout the Americas.
• Align client needs with Bureau Veritas testing services.
• Track customer inquiries and market trends to uncover new service opportunities.
• Keep abreast of regulatory and industry standard changes and revise or create testing methodologies accordingly.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and challenges across the region.
• Engage in global processes and initiatives for continuous improvement.
• Assist in client satisfaction efforts alongside Lab Managers/Directors and Business Development teams.
• Support audits, correlation programs, complaint investigations, adherence to testing methodologies, and alignment of regional testing capacity.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• At least 5 years of experience in customer services and/or direct customer engagement.
• 2–3 years of pertinent experience in the designated service line or a related discipline is required.
• Comprehensive knowledge of relevant areas of expertise, concepts, processes, and equipment.
• Capability to interpret regulations and standards effectively.
• Strong mathematical skills coupled with a working knowledge of statistical procedures.
• Medium to high proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Lotus Notes, and statistical software packages.
• Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation and equipment is essential.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present information clearly.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% within the USA, with limited international travel expected.
• A Master’s degree is an advantage.
• For the Manager track: over 10 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in marketing, product development, or business development; an MBA is a plus.
