This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.
• Deliver technical, client, and business-line assistance to the Americas region and global business line.
• Support technical services, strategy formulation, new product creation, global processes, capacity planning, and technical governance.
• Discover opportunities for new products and revenue by expanding and developing services.
• Oversee, develop, and manage the technical components of globally executed regulatory services for customers in the Americas.
• Offer technical insights, interpretations, opinions, and recommendations to clients and colleagues.
• Maintain and enhance internal quality systems and technical service processes.
• Address technical inquiries from the Tech Inquiry Mailbox within established turnaround times.
• Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), methods, work instructions, and standard interpretation practices.
• Develop and deliver technical training for both internal and external audiences.
• Align client needs with Bureau Veritas testing services.
• Track customer inquiries and identify potential new service offerings.
• Stay updated on regulatory and industry-standard changes, revising or developing testing methodologies as needed.
• Resolve technical issues across regional sites and with clients.
• Engage in global processes and initiatives for continuous improvement.
• Assist in client satisfaction efforts with Lab Managers/Directors and Business Development teams.
• Collaborate on client projects, support knowledge-product sales, and participate in industry committees and conferences.
• Create technical content for marketing materials and liaise with governmental agencies.
• Work alongside Business Development and Account Management on new-service integration and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
• Lead the implementation of new, repackaged, and extended technical services.
• Ensure accurate and consistent testing methodologies across the Americas region.
• Enforce and monitor adherence to global testing methodologies.
• Supervise audits and correlation programs, providing technical guidance for accurate test outcomes.
• Assist with the investigation and resolution of complaints.
• Align regional testing capabilities and capacity with sales and marketing strategies.
• A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• A Master's degree is advantageous.
• At least 5 years of experience in customer service and/or direct customer interaction.
• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in the designated service line or a related discipline is required.
• Comprehensive knowledge of applicable expertise areas, such as Analytical Chemistry, including concepts, processes, and equipment.
• Capability to interpret regulations and standards.
• Strong mathematical skills and a working knowledge of statistical procedures.
• Medium to high proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Lotus Notes, and statistical software.
• Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation and equipment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver presentations.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time within the USA, with limited international travel.
• A compensation range of $90,000 to $110,000 annually.
