Technical Sourcer, Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +9 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Technical Recruiters and Engineering Hiring Managers to develop and implement sourcing strategies for engineering positions at all levels.

• Take ownership of market mapping and competitive analysis to determine where technical talent is located and how to connect with it.

• Lead outreach and initial candidate engagement for multiple challenging technical positions that are difficult to fill.

• Advise hiring managers on role definition, level assessment, and sourcing strategies.

• Share sourcing plans and market insights with recruiting and engineering partners.

• Refine candidate profiles utilizing funnel metrics, such as submittals, conversion rates, and time-to-fill.

• Provide an exceptional candidate experience from the first outreach to the interview handoff.

• Participate in enhancing sourcing processes, tools, and sharing market intelligence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in technical sourcing or recruiting.

• Ideally focused on sourcing for senior or higher-level software engineering or infrastructure roles.

• Proficient in Boolean and X-ray search techniques.

• Familiarity with sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, and GitHub.

• Strong skills in market mapping and competitive intelligence.

• Demonstrated experience in consulting with hiring managers regarding role definition, level assessment, and sourcing strategies.

• Excellent written communication skills for outreach and candidate engagement.

• Proven track record of providing a positive candidate experience.

• Ability to manage multiple requisitions autonomously.

• Comfortable utilizing AI tools and innovative sourcing methods, including AI-assisted searches, market research, and LLM-based outreach drafting.
