This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
β’ Oversee daily site operations for Intelligent Transport Systems and roadway technology implementations.
β’ Manage and coordinate subcontractors to guarantee that work is conducted safely, on schedule, and meets the necessary quality standards.
β’ Assist in the planning and scheduling of installation, testing, and commissioning processes.
β’ Serve as the local technical liaison for site operations across the UK.
β’ Collaborate with engineering and project teams in Spain to address technical challenges and streamline project activities.
β’ Track site progress, recognize potential risks or delays, and suggest effective mitigation strategies.
β’ Participate in site meetings with clients, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
β’ Aid in testing, inspections, commissioning, and acceptance processes.
β’ Keep precise site records, progress updates, and as-built documentation.
β’ Support Project Managers in executing projects in alignment with program timelines, budgetary constraints, quality, and safety standards.
β’ A degree, HND, or another relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
β’ Approximately 3-8 years of experience in technical, infrastructure, transport, telecommunications, electrical, or construction-related projects.
β’ Proven experience in coordinating site activities, installations, or maintenance work.
β’ Strong understanding of electrical and electronic systems along with their associated installation practices.
β’ Experience collaborating with subcontractors and field teams.
β’ Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
β’ Capability to work autonomously and take responsibility for site-related challenges.
β’ Valid UK driving license and readiness to travel across the UK as needed.
β’ Familiarity with Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), highway technology, enforcement systems, communications networks, or roadside infrastructure.
β’ Knowledge of testing, commissioning, and site acceptance processes.
β’ Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and installation documents.
β’ Understanding of UK highway or infrastructure environments.
β’ Proficiency in Spanish is highly advantageous.
β’ Practical, solution-oriented approach.
β’ Strong organizational and coordination capabilities.
β’ Proactive with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
β’ Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.
β’ Resilient, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project setting.
