This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate directly with defense and security clients to identify challenges related to situational awareness and force protection.

• Define solutions tailored to the most pressing issues faced by customers.

• Design, construct, and implement solutions utilizing Palantir Foundry.

• Develop data pipelines, ontology models, operator-facing applications, and bespoke widgets.

• Incorporate Dataminr's real-time intelligence into client workflows, common operating pictures, and command-and-control tools.

• Take ownership of solutions from start to finish and make autonomous technical decisions.

• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and application layers across cloud, hybrid, restricted, disconnected, and on-premises settings.

• Serve as a trusted technical consultant to customer engineers and operators.

• Relay customer feedback back into the Dataminr product development.

• Travel to customer locations and operations centers as required, approximately 25–75% of the time.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of professional software engineering experience delivering production systems in a collaborative team environment.

• Proficient in Palantir Foundry with hands-on experience in pipelines, ontology, Compute Modules, Code Repositories, and application development.

• Strong programming capabilities in Python, Java, SQL, TypeScript/JavaScript, Bash, or Go.

• Comfortable with containers, orchestration (Kubernetes/OpenShift), Linux, and on-premises infrastructure.

• Active U.S. security clearance, or eligibility and readiness to obtain one is mandatory.

• Top Secret clearance is preferred.

• Excellent communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Willingness to travel 50–75% to secure customer sites.

• Experience working in classified, air-gapped, or disconnected environments.

• Background in defense, intelligence, or national security operations.

• Familiarity with geospatial tools (Esri/ArcGIS) or command-and-control systems.

• Experience in front-end development for operator-facing applications.
