LAN Engineer – Fully Remote

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Supervise and ensure the LAN network is functioning optimally

• Handle incidents and service requests, including diagnosis, resolution, and escalation of N2/N3 incidents

• Manage and set up network equipment

• Execute configuration changes, deployments, updates, and backups

• Enhance and secure the network

• Monitor performance and carry out capacity planning

• Track traffic flows and enforce security protocols

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a dynamic environment

• Experience collaborating with enterprise clients

• Attention to detail, adaptability, and initiative

• Exceptional written communication abilities

• Skilled in administering and operating Huawei switches

• Understanding of VLANs, trunks, STP, inter-VLAN routing, and LAN monitoring

• Experience with LAN/WAN architectures, IP addressing, static/dynamic routing, DHCP/DNS, and network traffic analysis

• Expertise in administering Palo Alto Networks firewalls, security rules, NAT, filtering, VPNs, and security policies

• Valid work authorization is required
