This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct daily maintenance of enterprise business applications across both Windows and RHEL environments, which include virtualized and AWS-hosted platforms.
• Strategically plan, coordinate, and carry out upgrades for operating systems, databases, and applications in collaboration with various IT functional teams.
• Utilize enterprise tools to monitor IT systems, ensuring they meet availability, performance, and operational standards.
• Oversee and coordinate IT service delivery to meet mission requirements.
• Diagnose complex application problems, perform root-cause analyses, and implement necessary corrective measures.
• Record system modifications through Change Requests, ServiceNow PRB tickets, and other internal tracking mechanisms.
• Evaluate vulnerability and security scan outcomes, confirm system integrity, and address findings in accordance with established security protocols.
• Maintain compliance with organizational policies, technical standards, and service-level agreements.
• Adhere to SEC-sanctioned operational procedures for ticket management, reporting, and service-level performance metrics.
• Collaborate with software engineers, technical experts, and operations staff to enhance system performance and mission preparedness.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and cross-training opportunities for fellow IT personnel.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a similar field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support for enterprise systems.
• At least 5 years in production or industrial engineering settings.
• Extensive knowledge in troubleshooting and configuring Windows operating systems.
• Proven understanding of Linux OS, databases, networks, certificates, and system integration.
• Capability to independently research problems, troubleshoot intricate issues, and devise technical solutions.
• Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficient in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with vendors, clients, and technical teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with no dual citizenship.
• Capable of obtaining and retaining a government suitability clearance.
• Successful completion of a background check.
• Must have or be eligible to acquire a government security screening and achieve a Public Trust security clearance.
