This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Offer specialized technical support to engineers, managers, and subcontractors.
• Assist with fault diagnosis, intricate repairs, and product-related issues both remotely and on-site.
• Collaborate on new product launches and ensure readiness across various teams.
• Partner with engineering and product teams to enhance field performance.
• Provide structured training programs covering the product range and competitor equipment.
• Create training materials, manuals, and hands-on demonstrations.
• Lead the onboarding and continuous development of engineers and subcontractors in conjunction with Service Operations Managers and Installation Project Managers.
• Administer refresher training, skill enhancement, and targeted coaching.
• Maintain training records and issue compliance certifications in collaboration with HR and QHSE.
• Assist Service Sales and Equipment Sales teams with technical expertise.
• Perform on-site assessments, audits, and technical evaluations.
• Identify skill gaps and devise customized training plans.
• Collaborate with operational leaders to uphold safety and quality standards.
• Work alongside Operations and Service leadership to enhance performance.
• Support initiatives aimed at improving first-time fix rates and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate training sessions and site visits while minimizing operational disruption.
• Contribute to national capability and standardization initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience with industrial doors, loading bay equipment, high-speed doors, or roller shutters.
• Background in field service, engineering, or technical training.
• Exceptional diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and coaching skills across all organizational levels.
• Comprehensive understanding of health & safety legislation and compliance standards.
• High organizational capabilities and proficiency in managing training programs.
• Familiarity with ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems products or similar competitor products is a plus.
• Experience in conducting competency assessments or audits is preferred.
• Training or instructional qualifications such as Train the Trainer or PTLLS are beneficial.
• Possession of a full UK driving license.
• Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the UK.
