Technical Service Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Deliver technical services to support product applications at customer locations, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.

• Oversee multiple clients within a designated area, utilizing various product lines.

• Provide assistance, information, and support to clients; address inquiries and guarantee satisfaction.

• Repair, replace, and install DuBois equipment; perform chemical testing and manage inventory.

• Document and report findings and unusual conditions, communicate outcomes, and provide recommendations.

• Address technical challenges faced by customers and aid in process enhancements.

• Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and cross-functional support staff.

• Acquire knowledge and assist with DuBois eTools, System Surveys, and Cost Calculators.

• Input chemical test results, meter/setpoint readings, inventory and dosage information, GPS locations, and service times into Analytics or a similar data collection system.

• Travel to designated customers to perform service audits.

• Execute the core responsibilities of the role with or without reasonable accommodations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Reside in British Columbia.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical, chemical, or industrial fields.

• Preferred mechanical aptitude in electrical systems and pipefitting.

• Strong time management abilities with a keen attention to detail.

• Capability to comprehend the company’s products and services.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

• Skilled in conducting technical/mechanical testing on-site.

• Flexibility to adapt to diverse customer needs and situations.

• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

• Proficient in Microsoft applications, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, and other analytical tools.

• Willingness to travel up to 25%, including overnight stays.
