Technical Service Engineer – Aseptic Packaging

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Russia.

📋 Description

• Travel to client locations to carry out the mechanical and electrical installation, setup, and commissioning of packaging equipment (such as filling machines and downstream equipment).

• Execute FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and SAT (Site Acceptance Test) alongside customers to confirm that machines meet required specifications.

• Enhance machine parameters to guarantee production efficiency and product quality.

• Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues on packaging lines.

• Perform urgent repairs to reduce customer downtime.

• Investigate root causes of machine failures and offer sustainable solutions.

• Conduct routine preventive maintenance visits to assess equipment, replace worn components, and ensure optimal machine performance and lifespan.

• Deliver thorough on-site training for customers’ operators and maintenance teams on machine operation, safety protocols, and routine upkeep.

• Provide remote technical support through phone, email, or video call to assist customers with immediate operational challenges.

• Complete detailed service reports, documenting issues encountered, actions taken, and recording customer feedback after each service visit.

• Aid in recognizing opportunities for spare parts sales or equipment upgrades.

⛳️ Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a field service or maintenance role, particularly within packaging machinery and automation.

• Strong understanding of mechanical systems (motors, gears, conveyors, pneumatics).

• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings proficiently.

• Experience with PLCs (e.g., GE, Allen-Bradley, Rockwell) and HMI troubleshooting is highly valued.

• Outstanding problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-centric approach.
