Field Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate discovery sessions with clinical, technical, and operational executives and leaders.

• Identify current workflows, challenges, data infrastructure limitations, and strategic priorities.

• Align client needs with applicable Tom use cases.

• Recognize solution risks, feasibility concerns, and implementation dependencies.

• Present tailored demonstrations that showcase future-state care delivery supported by Tom.

• Lead Tom Immersion Studio experiences through clinical storytelling.

• Articulate AI models, RAG, data ingestion, and their business/clinical value.

• Collaborate to create deal-specific Points of View and tailored solution blueprints.

• Specify use cases, integration/configuration assumptions, pilot parameters, and phased deployment strategies.

• Work alongside the Growth team account owners on account-level strategies.

• Jointly develop client-specific value hypotheses, ROI models, and business case inputs with Finance and Revenue teams.

• Contribute to RFIs, RFPs, and security questionnaires (DDQs).

• Ensure a structured transition from Sales to Implementation and Customer Success teams.

• Document use cases, workflow designs, defined parameters, success metrics, and clinical/technical assumptions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of progressive experience in healthcare solution engineering, clinical transformation, healthcare consulting, technical pre-sales, or healthcare SaaS sales.

• In-depth knowledge of provider/payer economics, population health management, and health system operating priorities.

• Demonstrated ability to engage with customer executives, clinical leadership, and technical practitioners.

• Proficient in discussing APIs, EHR workflows, and clinical protocols.

• Proven history of active involvement in complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles.

• Exceptional presentation, facilitation, and clinical/technical storytelling abilities.

• Capacity to simplify highly complex topics into clear value propositions.

• Experience with AI-enabled healthcare platforms, Conversational AI, or contemporary data architectures like FHIR, HL7, cloud databases, and interoperability tools.

• Background in startup-oriented organizations with the adaptability to pivot, establish new processes, and support ongoing iterations for tools, templates, and playbooks.

• A clinical degree or license (e.g., Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent clinical background) is highly preferred.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
