This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Execute installation, repair, upgrades, and preventative maintenance on specific Carl Zeiss Meditec instruments within an assigned field service territory.
• Identify and resolve issues with designated products, including preventative maintenance, installations, and upgrades.
• Organize, create, verify, and adjust customer appointments based on their requirements.
• Complete and submit daily field service reports.
• Finalize and submit weekly expense reports.
• Oversee spare parts inventory and return specified spare components.
• Drive revenue growth through the promotion and retention of service agreements.
• Interact professionally with customers, team members, management, Sales, and Technical Support.
• Provide guidance to customers on equipment operation and maintenance when necessary.
• Manage company-issued inventory, tools, diagnostic equipment, vehicle, and other assets.
• A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in Electronics, Fine Mechanics, Optics, or Medical Field Service.
• A Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Engineering, or Computer Technology, or related fields is preferred.
• A+ and Net+ certifications are preferred.
• Capability to analyze challenging customer issues and achieve satisfactory outcomes for customer satisfaction.
• Must be self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal management supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Proficient computer skills are required.
• Must successfully complete necessary training to service fine mechanics and optics, and effectively maintain equipment post-training.
• Competence in managing multiple projects and effective time management skills are required.
