Field Service Technician – 100% Travel, Rotational Position

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct and provide training on significant component replacements and repair services throughout the Invenergy fleet.

• Ensure that all operations and maintenance tasks are carried out safely, adhering to Invenergy's policies and procedures.

• Travel away from home for four-week periods, followed by one week off.

• Serve as a representative of Invenergy and the Field Service Group to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues across various equipment platforms.

• Educate site personnel on safety protocols, preventive maintenance, reactive maintenance, and Operations Support System activities.

• Lead teams in executing major component replacements and repairs across different equipment platforms and manufacturers.

• Resolve intricate electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic challenges.

• Comprehend electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic functions across multiple equipment platforms.

• Conduct equipment and site inspections, compiling detailed reports.

• Fulfill daily and monthly reporting obligations.

• Draft and update procedures and documentation related to component replacement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of one (1) year of technical experience (mechanical, electrical, etc.) and/or relevant technical education.

• High School diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Capability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions.

• Ability to climb ladders independently.

• Capacity to lift and handle up to 45 kg (100 lbs.).

• Possession of a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving history.

• Ability to work at heights exceeding 80 meters (250 feet).

• Weight must not surpass 120 kg (265 lbs.) excluding job-related equipment or gear.

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.

• Preferred: Two (2) years of technical experience and/or technical education related to renewable energy systems.

• Strong enthusiasm and comprehension of electrical and mechanical systems.

• Experience across multiple platforms is highly preferred.

• Proficiency in utilizing software systems to troubleshoot problems effectively.

• Ability to work safely with minimal supervision.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Experience with Microsoft Office products is required.

• Must successfully pass drug testing and obtain a negative result prior to commencing work.
