Technical Segment Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain Segment Requirements Documents (SRDs) that direct engineering and market strategies.

• Develop customer engagement strategies and facilitate technical discussions, demonstrations, and specification evaluations.

• Recognize capability gaps and suggest engineering priorities.

• Oversee the design, testing, and demonstration of proof-of-concept hardware.

• Present external technical information and assist with marketing materials.

• Contribute to high-value proposals with technical narratives and unique solutions.

• Propel strategy, customer alignment, and proof-of-concept development within Missile & Hypersonic Airframes, Thermal Protection & Aeroshells, Propulsion & Flowpath Components, and Unmanned & Attritable Airframes.

• Convert customer requirements into technical guidance and influence the external technical narrative.

• Solid technical expertise in aerospace, composites, advanced materials, or related disciplines.

• Capability to transform market demands into precise technical requirements.

• Assurance in engaging with engineering teams, clients, and technical stakeholders.

• Outstanding technical communication abilities.

• An inclination for action and comfort in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

• Background in hypersonics, thermal protection, propulsion components, UAVs, or missile systems.

• Understanding of materials/process qualification or allowable development.

• Experience in creating technical content or presenting at industry conferences.

• U.S. Person status is required due to ITAR regulations.
