This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
β’ Establish and nurture robust relationships with clients, which include consulting engineers, local government officials, contractors, and other essential stakeholders.
β’ Cultivate new customer relationships by educating prospects, comprehending their challenges, and recommending suitable technical solutions.
β’ Attentively listen to customer needs, clarify project limitations, and assist in identifying the most effective path forward.
β’ Create and execute educational plans, encompassing presentations, technical discussions, regional trade show support, and training seminars.
β’ Identify and monitor projects through various sales cycles, from budgeting and estimating to bidding and transitioning to the Project Management team.
β’ Foster sustainable business growth by building trust, offering responsive technical guidance, and aiding customers in overcoming storage-related challenges.
β’ Prepare quotation requisitions, which include specifications, pricing, and scheduling.
β’ Bid on projects and coordinate subcontractors until final pricing is established.
β’ Report directly to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
β’ A minimum of three (3) years of experience in the bolted tank sector.
β’ At least two (2) years in a sales or customer service position within the bolted tank industry.
β’ Demonstrated ability to leverage technical knowledge in a consultative, customer-centric environment while promoting profitable growth.
β’ Proven track record in identifying and qualifying key decision-makers.
β’ Established ability to build relationships and interact effectively with engineers, contractors, and owners.
β’ Consistent history of meeting key performance indicators, sales objectives, and professional development targets.
β’ Strong organizational, communication, and follow-up skills.
β’ Capable of guiding customers through prospecting, technical discussions, education on available options, needs assessment, presentations, issue resolution, and decision support in line with project requirements.
β’ Results-driven and able to work independently.
β’ Willingness to travel across the United States and Canada without restrictions.
β’ United States citizenship, permanent resident status, or a valid work permit is required.
