This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish and nurture relationships with builders, dealers, distributors, architects, developers, general contractors, and other important industry stakeholders.
• Provide support across various sales channels, including direct retail, distribution, dealer networks, and turnkey building providers.
• Operate within a brand-neutral environment, assisting multiple product lines and market pathways.
• Educate customers on technology platforms, product details, and processes throughout the sales and construction phases.
• Manage video training sessions and product manuals to address onsite challenges and issues.
• Assist customers in comprehending metal building systems, product applications, and installation methods.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities across diverse customer segments and markets.
• Collaborate with customer service, operations, engineering, and sales leadership to ensure customer and project success.
• Support customers with systems, processes, project coordination, and product selection.
• Aid in business development initiatives to enhance the adoption of light gauge steel building solutions.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, resolve issues, and manage customer expectations effectively.
• Establish customer credibility through communication, product expertise, promptness, and relationship management.
• Conduct site visits for key first-time customers and installers to verify inventory management, structural compliance, and installation practices.
• Act as a liaison between sales teams and customers for design assistance, software troubleshooting, and engineering-related order modifications.
• Provide sales support during the selling process and assist with technical software navigation for product updates and enhancements.
• Occasionally travel to customer locations or trade shows for onsite assistance.
• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
• At least 2 years of experience in steel building design and/or erection.
• Proven history of gaining a comprehensive understanding of customer and market needs.
• Self-motivated individual with the capacity to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and work autonomously.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, CRM systems, and other ERP order software.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Ability to occasionally lift product samples, literature, or training materials weighing up to 25 lbs.
• Proactive team player with a customer-focused mindset.
