This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
β’ Establish and nurture robust relationships with clients, such as consulting engineers, local government officials, contractors, and other essential stakeholders.
β’ Cultivate new customer relationships by educating prospects, understanding their challenges, and suggesting suitable technical solutions.
β’ Attentively listen to customer needs, clarify project limitations, and assist in determining the most effective approach moving forward.
β’ Create and execute educational initiatives, including presentations, technical discussions, regional trade show participation, and training seminars.
β’ Identify and monitor projects throughout various sales cycles, from budgeting and estimating to bidding and transitioning to the Project Management team.
β’ Promote sustainable business growth by establishing trust, offering responsive technical support, and assisting customers with storage-related challenges.
β’ Prepare quotation requests, detailing specifications, pricing, and scheduling.
β’ Manage bidding on projects and coordinate subcontractors until final pricing is established.
β’ Report directly to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
β’ At least three (3) years of experience in the bolted tank industry.
β’ A minimum of two (2) years in a sales or customer service position within the bolted tank sector.
β’ Demonstrated capability to leverage technical knowledge in a consultative, customer-centric environment while fostering profitable growth.
β’ Proven track record in identifying and qualifying key decision-makers.
β’ Established ability to build relationships and engage effectively with engineers, contractors, and owners.
β’ Consistent history of meeting key performance indicators, sales objectives, and professional development targets.
β’ Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-through abilities.
β’ Capacity to guide clients through prospecting, technical discussions, education on available options, needs assessment, presentations, issue resolution, and decision support in alignment with project requirements.
β’ Results-driven and capable of working independently.
β’ Willingness to travel across the United States and Canada without limitations.
β’ United States citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid work permit.
