
Technical Sales Manager β Data Centre

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
β’ Develop and maintain a proactive territory strategy for key Data Centre accounts.
β’ Generate end-user demand and cultivate new opportunities with customers, partners, and internal teams.
β’ Establish customer relationships, enhance market visibility, and pinpoint new business opportunities.
β’ Oversee distributor partners, formulate business plans, and achieve targets.
β’ Advocate for Fluke products through relationship-building, training initiatives, marketing efforts, customer support, and engagement with end-users.
β’ Establish yourself as a trusted local expert on Fluke products, solutions, and applications in the Data Centre sector.
β’ Prepare proposals, conduct product demonstrations, deliver training sessions, host seminars, and address customer projects and requirements.
β’ Keep precise CRM records and manage as well as expand the sales pipeline.
β’ Utilize technical expertise and effective communication to position Fluke solutions effectively.
β’ Operate remotely from a home office while traveling to customer locations within the assigned territory.
β’ Foster relationships throughout the Data Centre ecosystem, including end users, installers, consultants, partner manufacturers, influencers, and relevant organizations.
β’ Utilize internal Fluke support teams to enhance market growth and customer success.
β’ Demonstrated ability to develop and implement business and sales strategies within a designated territory.
β’ Experience in identifying, qualifying, and nurturing new business opportunities.
β’ Capacity to cultivate customer relationships across various organizational levels, from engineers to senior executives.
β’ Ability to balance immediate commercial goals with long-term strategic growth objectives.
β’ Experience in managing distributor partnerships, developing plans, and driving growth to meet targets.
β’ Strong technical aptitude with the ability to articulate product capabilities clearly.
β’ Confidence in delivering product demonstrations and technical presentations.
β’ Experience in preparing sales proposals and engaging in commercial negotiations.
β’ Strong CRM discipline with the ability to maintain precise sales and customer records.
β’ Experience managing trade shows and industry events.
β’ Interest in industry trends and advancements.
β’ Must be based in the UK while covering Ireland and the Nordics.
β’ Confident, analytical, results-oriented, organized, and self-motivated mindset.
β’ Proven track record of establishing and sustaining long-term sales relationships.
β’ Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
β’ Minimum of three years of relevant experience in the Data Centre ecosystem, including Hyperscale, CoLo, or Enterprise environments.
β’ Strong knowledge of the local market.
β’ Excellent problem-solving, presentation, negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
β’ High proficiency in Microsoft Office, Dynamics or other CRM systems, Power BI, and analytical/presentation tools.
β’ High fluency in English.
β’ Full clean driving license.
β’ Degree-level qualification in a relevant field would be a plus.
