This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Generate new business prospects within the South Central U.S. region.
• Establish and nurture relationships with plant engineers, maintenance managers, project managers, procurement teams, and key decision-makers.
• Assess customer requirements and deliver technical solutions that involve corrosion-resistant alloys and custom-fabricated equipment.
• Suggest materials, fabrication techniques, and engineered solutions tailored to customer applications.
• Oversee the sales process from initial prospecting and quoting to project award and delivery.
• Create strategic account plans aimed at increasing revenue and enhancing market share.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations to provide customer-centric solutions.
• Track industry trends, plant expansions, maintenance initiatives, and capital investments to uncover new opportunities.
• Keep precise records of sales activities and customer details in CRM systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Metallurgy, or Mechanical Engineering — REQUIRED.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Sales Engineering, Technical Sales, Industrial Sales, Business Development, or Process Equipment Sales.
• Background in selling to nitric acid producers, chemical manufacturers, fertilizer plants, metals and mining companies, or industrial processing facilities.
• Knowledge of corrosion-resistant alloys, high-temperature materials, and their industrial applications.
• Capability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering requirements.
• Proven track record of developing new business and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and consultative selling abilities.
• Capacity to operate independently in a remote territory-based role.
• Willingness to travel throughout the region.
