Senior Applications/Sales Engineer – OnGuard, NetBox, Elements

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Deliver technical sales assistance within the designated region by engaging with Value Added Resellers (VARs), end users, and A&E consultants, frequently collaborating with a Regional Sales Manager.

• Demonstrate complex access control and security products effectively.

• Act as a technical authority for RFP submissions and technical specifications.

• Convey highly technical product information through training sessions for customers, end users, prospective clients, and at trade shows, conferences, or other public events.

• Provide support and resolve issues related to technical system design, implementation, system malfunctions, failures, and necessary corrections.

• Organize trade show demonstrations.

• Willingness to travel approximately 75% of the time.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of technical proficiency with LenelS2 OnGuard, NetBox, and/or Elements platforms, encompassing system design, administration, troubleshooting, integration, or technical sales support.

• Proven experience in customer-facing technical sales activities, demonstrations, and solution presentations.

• Competence in presenting and articulating technical concepts to both technical and executive-level audiences.

• Familiarity with network infrastructure and services, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, and fundamental network security principles.

• Capability to travel extensively as needed.

• Experience in designing, deploying, supporting, or selling enterprise security solutions.

• Knowledge of cloud technologies, SaaS applications, and hybrid infrastructure settings.

• Proficient understanding of Microsoft SQL Server, Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization technologies, and enterprise IT infrastructure.

• Comprehension of cybersecurity principles and their application in physical security contexts.

• Outstanding presentation, communication, and customer relationship management skills.

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment while handling multiple priorities and meeting business goals.

• Physically capable of lifting 40 lbs.

• OnGuard Master Certification is preferred.

• NetBox Certification is advantageous.

• Preferred certifications include AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Azure Administrator, or equivalent cloud credentials.

• Security industry certifications such as Security+, Network+, CISSP, CCNA, or equivalent are beneficial.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline is appreciated.
