This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +3 more countries.
• Develop and enhance integrations that connect Terrific with prominent ecommerce platforms and merchant technologies.
• Analyze merchant websites, applications, commerce infrastructure, product catalogs, shopping carts, and checkout processes.
• Evaluate technical viability for business opportunities and translate customer needs into technical solutions.
• Construct, test, and enhance integrations across platforms such as Shopify, VTEX, Adobe Commerce/Magento, WooCommerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, BigCommerce, Tiendanube/Nuvemshop, Wix, PrestaShop, Shopware, custom/headless environments, and native mobile applications.
• Investigate integrations with Klaviyo, Attentive, Gorgias, Zendesk, Yotpo, Segment, Zapier, Google Merchant Center, and Meta Commerce Manager.
• Assist merchants in transitioning from signed agreements to their initial live experience with Terrific.
• Collaborate directly with customer engineers and internal teams in Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success.
• Facilitate technical discovery, proposals, security assessments, and proofs of concept.
• Enhance the reliability of product feeds, event tracking, cart interactions, and embeds.
• Publish and manage Terrific applications across relevant ecommerce marketplaces.
• Develop tools, scripts, automations, and AI agents to expedite integration processes.
• Transform recurring customer challenges into Product and Engineering priorities.
• Create documentation and processes for future customers and team members.
• Establish a reproducible technical discovery and feasibility process.
• Minimize the duration between signed agreements and customer launches.
• Transition new platform integrations into production and assist in defining upcoming marketplace and partner integrations.
• Introduce automations and AI-driven workflows.
• Formulate a roadmap for Terrific’s integration ecosystem.
• Extensive experience in at least one of Terrific’s three commercial pillars — eCommerce, Marketing, or Media — with sufficient knowledge in the other two to contribute effectively from day one.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Professional proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese.
• Residing in Latin America—ideally Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, or Colombia—or within a compatible EMEA time zone.
• Available for a full-time independent contractor engagement.
• Capable of working remotely with colleagues and customers across different global time zones.
• A minimum of three years of practical development or technical integration experience.
• Production experience with at least two major ecommerce platforms.
• Familiarity with APIs, product feeds, webhooks, authentication, shopping carts, or checkout processes.
• Ability to interpret unfamiliar code, write functional scripts, and debug browser or network issues.
• Experience working directly with customers, merchants, or external technical teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Sound judgment regarding effort, risk, and commercial value.
• Comfortable working independently within a distributed international team.
• Experience with live shopping, social commerce, video commerce, marketplace applications, or large international retailers is a significant advantage.
• Proficiency in French is beneficial for EMEA accounts.
