This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
β’ Engage directly with customers to comprehend their material, processing, performance, and application requirements.
β’ Discover and cultivate new customer and application prospects for prepreg and advanced composite materials throughout North America.
β’ Assist in material selection, sampling, testing, trials, qualification, specification, and commercialization processes.
β’ Establish and nurture relationships with OEMs, composite fabricators, processors, distributors, engineers, and technical decision-makers.
β’ Convert customer challenges into technical and commercial opportunities by collaborating with engineering, product management, and manufacturing teams.
β’ Generate new accounts and enhance a qualified pipeline of customer and application opportunities.
β’ Aid in technical presentations, quotations, proposals, pricing discussions, and commercial negotiations.
β’ Coordinate customer projects with colleagues across North America and Europe.
β’ Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events, and trade exhibitions.
β’ Professional experience in advanced composites, prepregs, carbon fiber, fiberglass, thermoset materials, or related structural composite technologies.
β’ Solid understanding of composite materials and manufacturing processes such as layup, curing, molding, material testing, qualification, or composite fabrication.
β’ Experience interacting directly with customers, suppliers, OEMs, fabricators, or other external technical stakeholders.
β’ Capability to grasp a customer's technical challenges and communicate effectively with both engineers and commercial decision-makers.
β’ Enthusiasm for developing applications, customers, and new business alongside providing technical support.
β’ A proactive, self-motivated working style with the ability to function effectively within an international organization.
β’ Willingness to travel approximately 50β70% across North America.
β’ Experience with thermoset prepreg materials, resin systems, UD or fabric-reinforced prepregs, CFRP/GFRP, or prepreg processing is especially beneficial.
β’ Strong related composite-material experience and a technical foundation to learn the company's specific prepreg portfolio.
