This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct comprehensive reviews of claims and assess them against industry benchmarks.
• Engage in discussions and coordinate efforts with adjusters and contractors regarding any discrepancies from industry norms.
• Gather comprehensive claim information from contractors, which includes moisture readings, sketches, photographs, and other pertinent documentation.
• Review potential discrepancies with contractors and establish permissible work.
• Generate estimates and sketches using Xactimate to aid in claims resolution.
• Reach mutually agreed settlement amounts with contractors.
• Prepare written review summaries based on IICRC standards for submission to carriers.
• Receive, enter, and manage claims initiated by insured parties, including follow-up on documentation.
• Collaborate with supervisors and senior team members to ensure proper handling of claims.
• Input claim details and results into company systems for tracking and reporting purposes.
• Manage fire and contents claims, mold claims, significant water losses, and commercial claims.
• Comply with company and departmental policies.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• An associate or bachelor's degree is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
• In-depth knowledge of the company's products, services, and operational processes.
• Prior experience in a 24/7/365 call center environment.
• Willingness to work overtime or flexible schedules during peak periods and CAT Events.
• Ability to work independently while seeking assistance when necessary.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking capabilities.
• Detail-oriented approach.
• Proficient in managing conflicts professionally and courteously.
• Exceptional customer service abilities.
• Excellent verbal, electronic, and written communication skills.
• Capacity to collaborate effectively with peers and across all departments.
• Dependable in fulfilling work commitments.
• Adaptable and flexible in work approaches.
• Proficient in using technology devices, software, and applications.
• Prior experience with Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills.
• A reliable high-speed home broadband internet connection with a minimum of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds.
• Capability to connect to home internet via an ethernet cord while working remotely.
• Comprehensive certification courses and a variety of training modules.
• Overtime or flexible schedules available during peak periods and CAT Events.
• Additional incentives on top of a $19/hour salary.
