Technical Recruiter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the entire recruitment process for designated roles, from the initial intake to the onboarding phase.

• Collaborate directly with hiring managers to understand requirements and develop sourcing strategies for both new and existing positions.

• Identify and connect with qualified candidates, both external and internal, through networking, referrals, and platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter.

• Review resumes and conduct pre-screening interviews to ensure candidates are suitable before progressing them in the hiring process.

• Organize and conduct interviews, assessing candidates based on BIG's core values.

• Provide hiring recommendations and serve as the subject matter expert on best practices in recruitment.

• Maintain relationships with candidates post-hire to facilitate a positive onboarding experience.

• Advertise and manage open positions using the applicant tracking system.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of recruiting experience within IT consulting firms that serve Enterprise Clients in software development.

• A proven track record of exceptional time-to-fill metrics.

• Demonstrated capability to independently handle high-volume recruiting for challenging roles.

• Strong comprehension of staffing, recruiting, and operational practices.

• Excellent judgment and the utmost confidentiality.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities with a strong focus on customer service.

• Comfortable in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

• Highly developed time management, follow-through, and organizational skills.

• Self-driven, resourceful, and adept at working in a highly autonomous setting.

• Capacity to manage multiple competing priorities with a high level of precision.

• Interest and capability to utilize AI tools like Claude Co-work to enhance efficiency in task completion.

• Must have the legal right to work in Canada for any employer without sponsorship.
