This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Identify candidates with expertise in technical fields, IT, cybersecurity, cloud computing, engineering, data, and other specialized areas.
• Perform focused searches utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, ClearanceJobs, Dice, Boolean search techniques, referrals, and various sourcing channels.
• Create talent pipelines for current job openings, proposal staffing, anticipated contract awards, recompetes, and efforts to capture incumbents.
• Evaluate candidates based on technical skills, experience in federal contracting, clearance eligibility or status, compensation expectations, location, availability, and cultural fit.
• Present qualified candidates to Recruiting Managers and hiring teams, accompanied by comprehensive and precise screening notes.
• Formulate effective outreach and sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill positions.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of candidate records and recruitment activities within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Monitor sourcing activities, screens, submissions, and the progress of talent pipelines.
• Provide insights on the market concerning candidate availability, compensation trends, and recruitment challenges.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in recruiting, sourcing, or talent acquisition.
• Experience in recruiting for federal government contracts.
• Proven track record of independently sourcing, screening, and submitting qualified candidates.
• Background in sourcing candidates within technical and IT fields.
• Experience in recruiting candidates with clearances, such as Public Trust, Secret, Top Secret, and/or TS/SCI.
• Knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), and/or Federal Civilian agencies.
• Proficiency with recruitment platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, ClearanceJobs, Indeed, Workable, or similar tools.
• Experience in supporting recruitment for proposals, contract awards, recompetes, and/or incumbent capture efforts.
• Understanding of federal labor categories (LCATs), technical qualifications, educational and experiential requirements, and clearance protocols.
• Strong skills in Boolean searching, candidate research, communication, and organization.
• Capability to manage multiple recruiting priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
